Yeah, so my vampire fetish is not exactly a secret here so why not put it out in the open? Since the issue of hot vampires has come up before and Curmudgeon hath recently bestowed upon us his list of WWE Divas, I figured I'd do one of my own liking. I still can't decide who I'm voting for. I thought about the Brides from "Van Helsing", but three chicks at once seems unfair and none of them individually amounted to much storywise. The Collinsons are twins so I let them slide. I wanted to stick to one vampire babe per show/film so Drusilla got bumped in favor of Darla. I could have added a lot more, but the list was long and the girls obscure enough as it was. I'll return with my own verdict later.

I was going to put her on the list, but I forgot her along with a few other notables. I think "Vamp" was the only time I legitimately thought she was hot...or even a woman. Okay, so the old-schooler in me loves Ingrid Pitt and "Vampire Lovers" is my favorite film of any appearing on this list, but while she may be the most proficient onscreen vamp she wasn't quite the hottest. And goddamn, do I love Brigid Brannagh. Give her the runner-up trophy. Salma Hayek has been a favorite of mine for over a decade and Julie Benz has the best pic here, but for sheer beauty I'm having to hand it to Anulka. "Vampyres" is hands-down the hottest horror film ever made.

Wow, that's as fine a cascade of lusty leeches as ever compiled. It must have took you hours boyo, but the results are well worth it. I've voted for Tate; beautiful beyond meaningless words and part of the whole Manson/Polanski cult thing. Hayek ran her close - that's a fabulous wedge shape she's proffering. Haven't seen "Kiss of the Vampire". You've schooled me again, Paul. Congrats. I left out a ton of ladies, but the list could go on forever between the two of us. Here's another big omission.  How could I forget Andrea Rau as our pretty Illona in "Daughters of Darkness"? Possibly the finest body ever caught on film. Tate was just too gorgeous to even be real. I may have picked her if she'd had more onscreen vamp time in that movie. I was hoping you'd see this soon because I wanted the opinion of one of the few people more fixated on vampires then I am. I got that "Vampire Circus"/"Hands of the Ripper" import by the way. Thanks for pointing that out to me. |

I'd clean forgotten about Andrea and I only watched the film again a few weeks ago.
My 70's horror-totty radar is usually very reliable too.
Yes, you've done well getting tragic, incandescent Sharon in on the strength of her paltry 10 seconds of fang-work.
Thats the first thing I thought when I saw her in the thread.
I'll readily admit I don't know a few of the ladies here but all the same, it's a quality item.
I would've voted for Carol Borland from 'Mark of the Vampire' if I'd spotted her, but of course she wasn't a real vampire, just an actress trying to expose some blackmailers.
I figured if this didn't get past me, no way in the world was it getting by you; so goodbye to lush Carol.

Nice! I had to vote for Anulka, but really the sexy vamp exploited in VAMPYRES was Marianne Morris. Those two together makes the voting unfair. Oh, and Salma should have done that snake-dance naked! That needless lingerie cost her the top spot in the sexy vampire vote. Of course she still looked sexy as hell.
