It's a bit hard to swallow coming from someone who has a comic book movie on their wish list. A $26 comic book movie, with free shipping and it sits on a wish-list.

This is about the most shallow conception I've ever heard. Mean, too.

I guess we'll just have build our kingdom on our purported "jealousy" of moderately talented talent show winners. But, heck, I say bring on the shiny glinting objects du pop to distract the zombies while we stand unmolested in front of the stages of people who are ACTUAL musical artists. It's too cramped on the bandwagon for me anyway.

It must be very painful to be you. I'm sorry for whatever life did to make you this sour. Perhaps you personally should appreciate (and attempt to emulate) Susan Boyle from the standpoint of how she has rather gracefully handled adversity. Conversely, one gets the impression that adversity may have crushed your spirit.

I actually agree with you on some points, not everything but some. I view her as a kind of decent imitation of Barbra Striesand (But without the range & versatility of Babs)

Interesting review and analogy - "......she looks like Popeye in a dress." Good thing she does not talk nor laugh like him. However, I do like her cd cover. Susan does have an amazing voice but I would really like to hear more of a wider range and versatility in her voice. Perhaps on your next cd.

ORIGINAL COMMENT FROM AMAZON.COM
Guys, guys, GUYS. I can't keep up. I mean, I knew this review would get more views than most but.. damn.
As I mention in my profile, EVERY comment gets posted on my website, and usually that's no major hassle to do. Cut and paste a few comments here and there every few days - no problem. This review has only been up two days and I'm sitting at 132 posts. So if you're wondering where I've got to, besides, y'know, doing stuff away from the computer, it's probably cutting and pasting all of these comments.
I will say one thing, though - there's an interesting mixture here. A blend of brainwashed reality dimbulbs who think a nice voice = superstar and then there are people who agree with The Curmudgeon. And you'll notice the people who agree with me tend to be more intelligent and more passionate about real music than those who are actually buying this drivel.
Why is that?
