What. The. Fuck.

It must have taken great skill to take the menacing, grim veneer of cool away from the first Batman (and indeed, Bale's Batman) but they seem to have done the trick in The Dark Knight movie if this is anything to go by. You almost expect to see him peddling his little legs on that thing.

What does this sort of thing bring back memories of...?

I like it, I just hate the fuckin' name of it (Batpod? Come on...you know Apple's gonna have a tie in to this one based on that name alone). If they're smart, they'll have it be a breakaway part to the "Tumbler" aka Batmobile. Remember in BATMAN RETURNS when the Batmobile strips itself down to "bullet" form? I'm gonna give Nolan some credit.
