One of the funniest memes of last year (brought to our attention by Trashcanman) was the one frame edits of classic Spider-Man cartoons, giving Spidey a whole new personality. Some were weird, some were clever and some were fucking hilarious. Leave it to studio execs, though, to see the funny and think "hey.. that's quite original and interesting. How can WE make money out of it?" So the idea now, is to make a TV show out of this idea, re-visiting the 80s childhood standard Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, with the same wacky captions, though this time from a sanitized, wholesome, "Marvel" perspective. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/GraphicCity/news/?a=56684Somehow I can't see a Disney show coming out with stuff like this; Sorry, Marvel. I'll get my uncensored laughs from the internet.
