Forgive me if I've posted this stuff before (I'm pretty sure I haven't.. but it certainly seems like the sort of stuff I WOULD post), but me and Mrs C have some huge fanboy crush on James Hance. OK, maybe not the GUY as such, but his art, a fusion of pop cultures (Muppets, Star Wars, comic books) that take often iconic images or themes and put a whole new spin on them. Some of them are funny, some of them are pretty damn beautiful. In fact, art lovers that we are, we recently paid for some original art prints from Hance (and now just have the VERY expensive job of getting the fuckers framed). Anyway, here's an example of his work; The last is from his signature series based on Star Wars and Winnie the Pooh (Wookie the Chew), and I actually bought the He-Man/Snuffleupagus one). A lot to love here, folks. Check him out.

Madness. There seems to be a lot of pop culture mash-up art stuff going on these days, and it's pretty damn cool.
