Now this is unexpected.
Will Smith is about the last guy I thought would react that way. I know in some parts of Europe (the reporter is Ukrainian) it's customary to kiss somebody on the cheek in greeting and I'm quite sure that Smith gets around more than I do so it seems unlikely he's unfamiliar with the concept. And in spite of Smith claiming the dude tried to kiss him on the mouth, it does not appear that way in any way, shape, or form. But anyways, he is the last celeb I would expect to physically lash out at somebody so I thought this was pretty interesting. Wish Coen had sicked Bruno on him now. Another fun fact: the reporter is the same guy that got dissed after handing Madonna a bouquet of flowers. Guy's about as welcome as Stuttering John, it seems. I'm kind of surprised to see that gay rights groups aren't mobilizing on this as perceived Hollywood homophobia, but I guess Will Smith is just that well-liked. Anyone else think the slap was a bit much for a kiss on the cheek?

Wow, where's the Perez Hilton "Boycott Men in Black 3!" media frenzy?
I dunno about this one. I guess he took him by surprise. If you walk into a room and a guy with a French (or whatever) accent greets you, the kiss on the cheek thing wouldn't be a surprise. But someone lunging over a barrier as you walk past 1000 people is a different story.
It's a pity I'm not offended, because at least then I'd have an excuse not to see MiB3, apart from it looks fucking awful.

Yeah, I'm not really offended seeing that I despise paparazzi and all, but it was still pretty crazy to see Mr. Nice Guy backhand a dude for something so minor.
