So we were discussing the books earlier and today I ran across these awesome, awesome, so very awesome videos summing up the first two seasons of the HBO show using the style of 16-bit Final Fantasy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCruJzlWefEwww.collegehumor.com/video/6791810/game-of-thrones-season-2-rpgThe Joffrey slapping minigame alone would make it worth my money. I've only seen the first season of the show, but I'm closing in on the finale of the third book and I've got to say that season 3 is probably going to be the most brutal season of television ever aired, assuming they don't split the book into two different seasons, which has been hinted at.

Yeah, I wouldn't advise ANYONE watch these clips if you haven't seen the show (or read the books). To say "spoiler warning" would be a little bit redundant.
Nice to see something that's not totally fan-boy obsessive. The guy obviously loves the show, but can gently mock it as well.
I just love 16-Bit videos like this. The music, the graphics, the animation... sigh. I would buy the fuck out of this game.

Well, its using Final Fantasy VI (originally FF 3 in America) as a template so in a way, you can play it, but it won't follow Game of Thrones obviously. Speaking of which, there was a GOT action/RPG game released earlier this year but it looked pretty weak. There was a computer game as well which took on a much wiser strategy approach, but it has bad reviews and went for the higher-selling RTS style when I think a turn-based approach similar to Romance of the Three Kingdoms would have made for an amazing game that I would have bought in a second. Quick fan question, C: if you could choose which house/faction to play as in a GOT war game, who would you choose?
