Obviously the big news around the world right now is, ahem, "Superstorm Sandy", which sounds like a local wrestler's nickname, but is in fact, obliterating America as we speak. If the media is to be believed, at any rate. It's scary stuff, certainly. One image that has been in every newspaper and website over the last few days, and indeed something that I think will swing the election in his favour, is this one.. Anyway, politics aside, I know that a number of Dwellers are from America, but I'm not 100% sure which parts.. so.. has anyone been affected by this? Is everyone OK?

Just the East Coast is affected. Around 100 or so casualties thus far. The East Coast and Southern Gulf areas go through hurricane seasons annually pretty much so it's really just more of the same, but Sandy appears to be the worst one over there in a long, long time. This is one of the perks of living in Cali. The only thing we have natural disaster-wise are forest fires and earthquakes and they are never as widespread and devastating as these hurricanes can be. Obama has supposedly been busting his hump dealing with this shit while Romney seeks attention for himself. www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/10/30/christie-praises-obama-doesnt-give-a-damn-about-romney-photo-op/Elect that dude. Let me tell you, almost NEVER does a Republican EVER fucking praise a living democrat for ANYTHING so if this Christie guy is giving him props, Obama has most likely earned it and a lot of folk are going to be thinking about this when they hit the voting booths.
