Part of me still wants to believe that Bill O'Reilly is, in fact, Chris Morris in disguise doing the biggest satirical prank in history. No way can this shit be for real. No way can people actually sit down and take what this man says seriously.
Gangham Style could actually have the most beautiful, profound lyrics in the history of recorded sound and these ignorant, racist fucksticks wouldn't even know because it's in some crazy, Gook language, right? So it must have "no words" and be meaningless. What amazing journalism. A fucking Google search could translate the lyrics for you. Do THAT, show them on the screen and then talk about how they have no meaning.
So how does this differ from 99% of pop music out now? Why is this labelled "nonsense" but Katy Perry singing "boom boom boom even brighter than the moon moon moon" get a pass? Because she's white, singing in English and has nice tits?
Gangham Style is a phenomenon, granted. It's a silly, fun song that has caught on through viral sharing and word of mouth. It's a unique, flash in the pan hit alongside the other million one hit wonders that have come and gone. Trying to look further into it is just fucking moronic.

I'm telling you, man. This shit is 24/7 over here. FOX News is never not on, and it's the highest rated "news" source in America. Think about that for a second. Sometimes, I think O'Reilly is a troll, but with something like this, I'm not sure you can even fake that kind of profound ignorance. I like how he brought the psychologist on to explain why this phenomenon has caught on, but as soon as he starts explaining it, O'Reilly interrupts him and continues jabbering the same repetitive nonsense rather than let the guest do what they brought him there to do.
Shrink: "Well you see, Bill, that PSY may be tapping into something..."
O'Reilly: "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! IT'S STUPID AND DUMB AND HE'S FAT AND HE'S NOT SAYING ANYTHING AND HE'S JUST DOING THE PONY!!!!"
I was waiting for him to blame Obama, but had to settle for him merely implying it by blaming "this generation" for being stupid and stuff.
