It'll be interesting to see what bullshit people make up for us all to look toward with a sense of comic dread once this date inevitably passes. We had the Millennium Bug, where planes would fall out of the sky, bank accounts would be wiped, our entire lives would.. oh, nothing. We had the end of the world as we know it a few years ago (I forget why), and we still felt fine, because nothing happened. And of course, this will be the same. So how long until "2050 is the end of the world!" rumours start. Maybe I just started it.

Anyway, love the images. Those saucers blowing the shit out of buildings are way more impressive than the famous Independence Day shot. What is that from? Anyway, we've got just a few hours to go until.. DUN DUN DUUUUUUN...

Mariah Carey and Justin Beiber petting a puppy. Your argument is invalid. Nice one. I believe the UFO image is from Harryhausen's "Earth vs. The Flying Saucers", but I haven't seen that one in ages so I'm not 100% on that.
