So some time ago Ben requested (nay, demanded!) that we post more image galleries of hot girls. We've done vampires, comic book girls, WWE Divas, and musicians in the past and it seems redundant to retread the same ol' same ol', so my idea was this: we start with our earliest celebrity infatuation and work our way through the list of all time hottest famous people you have had inappropriate feelings for and post pictures of them in a gallery. And yeah, ladies are welcome to play too. See if you can't turn us gay. Let's do this... Drew Barrymore My first celebrity crush. 'Nuff said.  I used to love me some Nicole. After I saw Eyes Wide Shut I figured she'd ruined women for me forever. No one could be that fucking sexy. Salma Hayek Love everything about this woman. Always the Latina to beat in my world ever since I saw Desperado. Alicia Silverstone I've got Aerosmith to blame for this one. Man, I had it baaaaaad for her in high school. Laetitia Casta I saw her on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine and have never forgotten that image. It's the kind of stuff 80's hair metal bands wrote songs about. Eliza Dushku Yeah, no surprise this one is Buffy-related. Willow would be the girl I'd marry, but not before having one hell of a fling with Faith. Turns out I have a thing for bad girls. Simone Simons Hottest singer in the world for my money, and her music is awesome to boot. Felicia Day My current. She also had a small role in Buffy, but she really caught my attention in Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and after seeing the first episode of The Guild, my fate was sealed. This lady is cuter, funnier, and nerdier than goddamn everyone ever. |

Well, shiiiit. Hello, Felicia Day. Welcome to my world. I notice your thing for red-heads hasn't died down any, Trash? Nicole and Salma are hot, no doubt, but they've never really registered with me (Salma and Dusk 'Till Dawn excluded, of course). Drew Barrymore on the other hand? Sexy in every single way. Not traditionally beautiful but just .. yeah, so fucking hot. Ditto Eliza. OK, let's start with a girl from, well, more than few years ago that got me all hot and bothered. She's borderline talentless, is a fucking nightmare in person on TV, but damn. Anytime of the day or night. Geri Halliwell  This girl most people from across the pond won't have heard of, and she's disappeared from the radar over the last few years. She was once a major character in UK soap Coronation Street, where she played a ridiculously sexy schoolgirl who happened to get pregnant (at age 13! The shame!)
Tina O'Brien  She debuted in WWF in 2000 and there's always been hot women in wrestling (more so than ever now) but she's still pretty much the benchmark. When she first debuted she was considered as nothing more than some eye candy (she joined up with wrestlers Test and Albert (ha ha ha, T&A, isn't that hilarious?) but she went on to become one of the best female wrestlers in the history of the company. And, oh yeah, she is mouthwatering. Trish Stratus  And, of course, no list of any kind from The Curmudgeon about lovely ladies would be complete without my number ONE lovely lady for 10 long years. It is, of course, my Britney.   And so one of my current favourite woman is from one of my current favourite TV shows, something that had sat on my Sky planner for months before I decided to watch it. "Smash" is like anti-Glee, a more realistic look at the world of musicals, with sleazy casting couch scumbags, back-stabbing bitches and even a Jonas Brother as a complete prick. It's about a Marilyn Monroe musical, so obviously anyone who looks like MM is going to be a feast for the eyes. And boy is she ever. Megan Hilty  Well, that WAS fun. Who's up next? |

Oh man, where to start? I had a bit of a crush on Britney when she ascended to stardom (just like everyone else between the ages of 7 and 70) but the first celebrity I really had a thing for was none other than this lovely lady... Amanda Bynes Except she was about 15 and I was closer to 11. But this is proof that Ms. Bynes has only gotten hotter as she's gotten older. Jessica Alba I've been hot for Jessica a long time, though it's died down recently. Probably because I haven't seen her on screen in a few years. Or possibly because she married a guy named Cash. Jessica Biel Another Jessica I've been fantasizing about for years. Natalie Portman I feel like it's really cliche to dig Natalie... but who could say no to that? Elisha Cuthbert The TV series 24 got me hooked on this Canadien. I'm usually not a fan of blondes, but when the right one comes along... Taylor Swift Her hokey country-pop music aside, I had a hefty crush on Taylor for awhile. That is, until I found out she's a cat person. And to top them all off, my all time favorite babe... Keira Knightley   Ironically, I don't find anything particularly intriguing or sexy about Britain (no offense intended to the Mighty Curmudgeon or Mrs. C); my biggest celebrity crush just happens to be from across the pond. There we have it. Ben's favorite celebrity babes. I'd also like to throw out honorable mention to Emma Watson, Alyson Hannigan, and Jessica Chastain. |

Don't apologise, Ben. There's never been anything remotely sexy about being British. We've come to terms with that.
Damn, the others I've heard of before but I have no idea who Amanda Bynes is. What a crime. She is gorgeous. What is she famous for?
Keira Knightley doesn't do it for me personally (although I wouldn't say no, of course), but no arguments on Taylor Swift or Elisha Cuthbert. She was a pain in the ass in 24, but man she was nice to look at.
It's only a cliche to put Natalie Portman in your top ten because she's so fucking delicious. If you've ever seen Garden State (a criminally under-rated movie), there's not a man alive who wouldn't fall in love with her there.

Bynes was a something of a pre-teen/teenage star on Nickelodeon. I have no idea if you know what Nickelodeon is, Curmudgeon, but in case you don't, it's basically the Disney Channel with different (and in my childhood days, better) TV shows. She was on "All That" for years and briefly had her own show (cleverly titled "The Amanda Show"), which featured a lot of slapstick humor. More recently, she's appeared in some low-budget comedies (She's the Man, Easy A).
Couldn't agree more about Cuthbert in 24. Better to just put her on mute sometimes.
I'll have to check out Garden State. I've heard but have not seen.

It's a bit of a yes and no answer to your question there, Ben. Yes, we do get Nickelodeon, but I've never actually watched it. I think I was j-u-s-t past the age bracket when my parents got Sky TV (satellite subscription service that has Nickelodeon). I know Mrs C watched a lot of it, but she's a bit younger than me. She often talks about old cartoons and fucking awful sounding TV shows (something about loving Orange Soda) and I have no idea what she's talking about. And while we're on the subject, I suppose I should pick up where Trashy left off and help defend my countries honour. No hotness in Britain, you say, Sir??    I thank you. |

Ah, the infamous "All That" orange soda bit. It became something of a recurring joke on the show. A lot of the awful sounding TV shows (like "All That") you're referring to were basically SNL for young'uns. And Nickelodeon had the greatest damn cartoons. If you've never seen an episode of "Hey Arnold!" (more popularly known as Football Head) from Season 1 you're missing out. In keeping with the spirit of the thread, can we get some more of that luscious Amanda Bynes? We sure can.  |
