His voice is a little on the grating side for me, but yeah, this looks tonnes of fun. I'm surprised the graphics aren't a bit better, though. Obvious retro 2D levels aside, it looks a little PS2-ish in places, don't you think?

Yeah, a bit, but graphics aren't really a top concern for me. I actually went to preorder this game and ended up getting Assassin's Creed 3 on sale instead when I read the fine print on the preorder bonus. I wanted the exclusive X-Force costume, but then saw that the bonus costume was only usable on ONE CHALLENGE MAP (not even in the game itself) and raged. How fucking rinky dink is that? I reigned my enthusiasm in a bit after that. I am absolutely determined to buy this game, but action games are seldom worth more than $20 or so since they are typically short and the gameplay is often cookie-cutterish (looking at you, Lollipop Chainsaw). But I can wait a few weeks/months for a price drop.

I can see the price dropping on this one in a few months. Bonus content is usually worthless, but bonus content that could be easily integrated into the full game and isn't? Lazy shit. I guarantee they did that so they wouldn't have to change the graphics on the cut-screen bits. Cynical as all hell.
