It's a possible example of irony that my very last thread in this section was about not being able to complete games, and then I've started obsessing over a game that (I think) is pretty much impossible to complete. It's this one. This game has been out for a while now, and I've had it a while on the iPad but just never really played it too much. It was only when I put it on my phone and began playing it that I could feel that old "I NEED to play this forever." Which is weird, because I usually hate games like this. It's almost certainly down to the pretty damn funny jokes and one-liners that are throughout the game, the gorgeous attention to detail (even though the graphics are small, you can see Apu visibley groan when he has to feed his 8 kids), and it's got all sorts of unlockables and hidden stuff and... yeah, I'm going to be playing this a while. Not to mention you can buy all the old special edition stuff (Christmas period unlocked the Maggie "starfish" snowsuit, Halloween unlocks loads of one-off characters from old Treehouse of Horror episodes... all that sort of stuff). Here's the original trailer. And it's FREE. What are you waiting for??

Oh man, you haven't got it? It's SO fucking addictive. I don't know how much you can do without paying for stuff (which I won't do) but for Simpson's fans its just great.

Small update on this one: the obsession built to Stark Towers proportions, as it also did with Mrs C until it was almost divorce proceedings over who got the iPad.
If you did get the game, Trash, you probably forgot about it after you realised you'd have to pretty much mortgage your house to actually get anywhere in it. If so, you can get a cheat from ebay for about five dollars that gives you money, doughnuts and all the old discontinued stuff (a crashed UFO! Kang! Devil Ned Flanders!) and I thought I'd maybe ruin the game by cheating, but it absolutely opens the game up and makes it 100% more enjoyable. You still have to complete all the missions and play it properly that way, but you get so much more fun out of it.
There's a new Halloween update tomorrow and I'm a little bit embarrassed how excited I am for it.

I'm out of space on my iPhone so I haven't gotten it yet, but thanks for the reminder.
