So DC Comics have an online competition aimed at aspiring new writers looking to break into the industry. DC want to see what YOU can do, creating visually stunning, original works that will captivate readers and really give the stories a visual depth and flair to help the imagination soar. Oh, and they want you to do draw Harley Quinn naked. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=86556So who cares if you can draw emotions, expressions and realistic situations? Can you draw impossibly beautiful ladies in a bath? HIRED. Jesus, DC.

Dude, this has got to be a troll. No fucking way. Not even DC could be this retarded. But while we're back on the DC hate train, here's some political retardation for you: popwatch.ew.com/2013/09/05/batwoman-jh-williams/?hpt=hp_t3Really, DC? J.H. Williams III took an obscure character that was lame as lame can be and turned her into a powerhouse with a story that bordered on instant classic and blew away anything Batman himself has been involved in recently with "Elegy", returned to make her title one of the few universally loved New 52 titles, and you pull this shit? And even worse, it's because they wanted a lesbian character with an active social/romantic life outside of the costume to get married. It's okay to show two girls kiss and stuff because boys like that, but GAY MARRIAGE?! That is just sooooo out there. Kate Kane has always been a commitment kind of character in the modern era. She's not the swinging lesbian bachelorette type. There's no good reason she can't be the first gay DC character to officially get married. Technically, you could argue that Scandal Savage got unofficially bigomist gay married in the last issue of Secret Six, but that bugged me because it was clearly just the writer trying to tie up the love triangle she had concocted over years in a positive way before the title got canceled and she had like two issues or something to try and work it out before the characters stopped existing thanks to the stupid reboot. But I can't fucking imagine what DC is thinking letting these writers go over such a stupid thing.

Yeah, lesbians are great in clubs getting it on or as ridiculously proportioned sexual deviants, but God forbid actually show them in a realistic relationship. Who the fuck wants to read THAT??
And yeah, that DC competition is sadly all too real. Pretty sad.
