It's almost Halloween, so it's fitting that the unbridled horror that is the X Factor comes around once again, emitting it's ghastly stench of mediocrity = superstar all over the UK. You can run, you can hide, but you cannot escape "I want this soooo bad".
It's business as usual, of course, but this one article sums up a growing trend of political correctness that's really getting out of control. The article is mindless drivel, of course, but take a look.

Lightweight, moronic shit (it's on a page called "OMG!" - what did you expect?) But it's the comment that really sum up where 2013 Britain's mindset is right now.
(Note: the person who wrote the article is called Amy).
"who is this amy person? BULLY GIRL!!!"
"Amy, this is bullying. This needs to stop now. You should lose your job over this article. Shame on you."
"In what infantile world did you, Amy, imagine that this would be accepted. You slate and mock this young man for being in a state of distress. In a moment that could decide his career he could be allowed some stress.
You have gone beyond the pale with this. Resign."
"You don't know this young lad. You have no idea about his life, what other stress he might be going through. Hope you're proud of yourself and your nasty jibes."
"your article is unfeeling, empty and extremely cold!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe you should think of another career choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Amy, you are a heartless bully and that is to remain polite!"
"What a bully! So what if he was crying? leave the poor guy alone!"
"This article shouts BULLYING..........How dare you treat a young boy this way, have you not read recent media articles about what bullied kids do?"
"This is bullying by the press"
"I think you need to remove this article immediately... it's bullying of the cruelest form. I am utterly disgusted by you"
You get the idea.
There have been, I'm sure you're aware, several high profile cases of genuine online bullying that have led to teen suicides. Terrible stuff, but it's lead to a rash of knee jerk "oh, you're a BULLY!" claims from people over the silliest stuff, and it's just another example of the humourless, oh-so easily offended culture we live in now. Unless it's a "Why did the chicken cross the road?" joke, someone somewhere will be on a message board complaining it's racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist or, of course, BULLYINGGGG!!!!!!!
In my Amazon hey-day, (which I really need to get back on with), I set out to get these kinds of reactions, and I said THE worst things the Amazon censors would allow. But now it seems anything above "you go, girl!" is a form of harassment. Where does it all end?
