I've always been of the belief that two consenting adults can do whatever they like to each other. Doesn't affect me in the slightest, right? Live and let live, right? Over in the UK, we have been besieged by terrible, terrible weather. You'd think living in the UK we'd be used to that, but this has been way worse than normal. Non-stop rain. Floods. Storms. Houses ruined. Trains de-railed. All kinds of madness. And, according to this ass-hat who's part of UKIP, the new favourite bigoted right wing party that some people are actually trying to take seriously, the cursed Pink Party is to blame. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-25793358So next time there's a hurricane or an earth quake, or locusts fall in their billions from the sky, we all know who to blame. Those crazy fuckin' gays.

Hey man, you guys have Westboro. We're weak amateurs compared to those fucking lunatics. Although I think by now they're merely trolling the worst possible things they can find in order to get attention. Over in the UK, you leave trolling, offensive comments on sensitive subjects you get arrested. A little boy was murdered by his (Pakistani) mother, and two guys were arrested because of comments they left on Twitter. Insanity.

It'd be fucking genocide over here if it came to that. Words are nothing but hot air in real life and even less than that on the internet. Our prisons are overflowing with people who perpetrate actual criminal acts so it just wouldn't fly. I've seen a lot of things that imply that Westboro are indeed trolls who find this all amusing. I'm sure they really do hate gays, but I think the cartoonishness of the way the express their beliefs is more of a desire for fame than anything else. I mean, after they protested Kevin Smith's movie that they inspired, Red State, they attended the premiere and gave him signed homophobic protest signs for souvenirs to make nice. They may as well make "you've been Westboro-ed!" a catchphrase.

As vile as they are, I think the majority of sting has been taken from their tails. I'm not sure why, their message is just as poisonous as ever, but I think most people just roll their eyes at them now and view them as harmless idiots more than anyone else. When people are walking into buildings and blowing themselves up or flying planes into buildings because of their beliefs, it's hard to take a bunch of cretins waving "GOD HATES FAGS" banners remotely seriously.
