"It was my friend not me" means the same thing as "hey I fucking did it." But what in the world was this girl thinking?
"Hey, you know what's funny?!" "What's funny?" "TERRORISM! Ha ha ha ha ha!"
Er, yes... terrorism: the pinnacle of comedy.

I mean, I'm all for offensive jokes, but it's kind of important that the jokes be funny if you're going to go in that direction. Or at least recognizable as humor. And at 14 there's really no excuse not to know better than to make a straightfaced online statement directed towards an airline claiming to be planning a terrorist act. And which friend of hers was she planning on turning this on? I could see some cyberbullies hacking her account or something and posting that, but what kind of friend would try and get you arrested and sent to Guantanamo? And what kind of friend is she if she was going to try and put this on somebody else? God, this may literally be the stupidest thing I've ever seen happen on the internet, and I say that as someone who views cyberspace as a digital ocean of stupidity.

She became a Twitter phenom in a matter of hours. You know what the best part is? She's not even American. Take that, Europe! We're not always the retard!

Perhaps not, Benjamin, but the people who are SUPPORTING her certainly are.
User @shyylicious who says she is from New York, tweeted at American Airlines, "I have a bomb under the next plane to take off." She also defended the 14-year-old who was arrested, saying she made "a stupid mistake."
The police that arrested the girl have also been threatened online.
"release her or I'll bomb your HQ (headquarters). You gonna arrest me now?" user @nonfreak wrote.
Yeah, I read about this a few days ago and just.. what an idiotic comment to make. If you're old enough to know what Al Queda is, you're old enough to make racist jokes then you're old enough to know fucking better. People trying to defend her is just baffling.

Someone named @nonfreak defending this level of stupidity...well, that's ironic.

I think there is something to be said against the cops doing everything by the book solely for the sake of adhering to procedure. I mean, let's be real- they probably found out everything they needed to know about this moron before they arrested her (and thus realized that she's just really fucking stupid and not actually dangerous), so taking her into custody really only serves as a warning to all the other stupid kids on the internet. People defending this bimbo are just as dumb as she is, but it's also a little disturbing to me that they actually needed to arrest and interrogate this girl. If it were me, once the cops showed up at my door I'd be scared so shitless I'd probably swear off internet use for the rest of my life. Not to mention the trouble I'd catch from my old man. Which I think says it all: little girls making terrorist threats on the internet as a joke is a result of BAD PARENTING.
