Seriously. That dog was lucky the cat got to it first, though. If it had been my kid and I'd gotten close enough, I'd have literally broken that fucker in two and made a way less awesome video.

I think this is probably the most viewed video of the year. Every one is talking about this hero cat.

I love cats, always have, and I remember my cat chasing off dogs twice her size. Dogs, funnily enough, can be total pussies.

Serious note, I hate animal violence but that Fucking dog was out for blood that day. If that cat hadn't been there God knows what would have happened to that kid. I wonder if the dog was destroyed?

Yeah it was. Animal Control picked it up and it continued behaving viciously so they had no choice. You can tell from its demeanor even before it attacked that it was just a deranged little shit. People on the video's comments were saying they thought it was a pit bull, but I can't imagine a pit even budging from a cat's attack.

Cats are really individual personalitywise whereas you can almost usually know a dog's default demeanor by its breed. People who like to know exactly what they're getting prefer dogs. But the thing is you almost never hear about a cat inflicting that kind of harm on anybody. I'm not even sure they could. Unfortunately, people who are assholes also tend to prefer dogs, and not only that but dogs specifically built to be able to do people serious harm. So you get situations where some shitface raises a psychopathic canine because he's feeling inferior about his tiny dick and then he just lets it wander the neighborhood until somebody gets hurt. Maybe we can breed a race of supercats from this one to police our neighborhoods?
