So THAT video of the woman being "harassed" as she walked down the street has got a lot to answer for. It's been talked about WAY too fucking much on this board already, but it's spawned a whole load of online murmuring about sexism and acceptable forms of abuse and, basically, how men are, like, totally bastards. Then came this video shortly after it, highlighting how a drunk and vulnerable woman is in constant danger from the pack of salivating animals known as MEN. Booooo, MEN! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kigFPSJt24QSo, an attractive girl pretends to be drunk and every lecherous scumbag male tries to take her home to have sex (RAPE!) with her. Twist being, of course, the girl isn't really drunk, and it's a video highlighting the dangers women face every Friday night when they stumble out of a club looking for a way home. Except, double twist, the predatory males in the video? Yeah, they were all actors as well. www.telegraph.co.uk/women/womens-life/11232201/Drunk-girl-video-with-sleazy-men-thank-God-that-was-a-hoax....htmlSo some social commentary video that went viral showing how men are all ruthless beasts has been revealed as a complete fabrication, yet no-one at the time even considered this, they just leapt to the "yep, all men are rapists if they're given the chance." Thanks for that, internet.

AND it was put together by an ad company for the express purpose of making money off of this fad. None of this is about social justice or experiments or anything else. It's just a way to make money off of internet fame and infamy while preying on peoples' political insecurities. That said, the fact that there are men like this sickens me and I would suggest women stop hanging out with them and/or bumbling around drunk and alone in public.
