...they did a Marvel Comics film as a black and white French indie flick? Well, then perhaps you'd get this interesting take on Venom, starring True Blood's Ryan Kwanten. And then what if they remade Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers as a gritty hardcore sci-fi thriller starring Katee Sackhoff from BSG? I wouldn't even embed the video, because there'd be tits and lesbians and I'd be afraid mods'd try and delete the site again. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsU14xqjARk#t=715And a half hour later, we're left wondering why we're wading through so much big budget bullshit in the cinemas when independent directors can produce stuff like this on Youtube.

Not being able to embed a Power Rangers video because of nudity is all kinds of fucked up. It was OK, but it's impossible to take that franchise even half seriously. Loved the ending, though.
I think I'll go on revord and say that the Venom movie is one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Really inspired, the Sin Eater newspaper cut outs had the fanboy in me buzzing. Very, very cool.

I could have embedded it, but I remember the warnings you got from Proboards about them shutting you down because of supposed nudity in the images and I figured I'd better play it safe.

Yeah, better to be safe than sorry with that sort of thing. I think there are certain words that trigger searches (nudity etc.. whoops, there it goes again) and I read online that a lot of these sites are being super strict with regarding porn).
On topic, I'd LOVE someone to greenlight a series based on this Venom video. Imagine a Marvel Universe like this. Did you notice Bullseye at the end?

Yup. An indie Marvel Cinematic Universe would be a brilliant idea. All of the nerd publicity and none of the massive budgets, plus artistic credibility to boot.
