Watching Game of Thrones the other night, Peter Dinklage turned in a motherfucking legendary performance that summed up for me in one scene why I've spent so much time watching people behave like imbeciles on the internet. I never stopped to think about why I continue my citizenship amongst all of the gamergaters and social justice warriors and generally clueless people who think reading a tweet makes them expert political analysts hellbent on impressing anonymous strangers on the internet with their newfound knowledge of straight cisgender white male media conspiracies or hidden feminist menaces overthrowing our civilization. I'm still trying to puzzle out what the fuck these people re doing with their lives and why, but at least Tyrion lets me know I'm not alone.



God, this show is brilliant.

Ah, now, before I even click on that, is that from the new series or the last series? The UK doesn't start up on Game of Thrones until April. Spoiler free zone!

It's from Season 4, which just came put pm DVD, so last series I would think. Season 5 hasn't started over here yet either. I'm super-pleased that HBO is launching its streaming service soon. I can't afford their cable rate combined with their shitty schedule so this way I can wait until Season 5 of GoT is done then binge it along with Season 4 of Girls and Season 3 of Newsroom and only pay the one month subscription fee for all of it before cancelling.
