I'm glad we live in a culture that doesn't point fingers at video games as being the catalyst for violence in young people, responsible for school shootings and all men being rapists. I'm glad that games aren't constantly blamed for being too violent and corrupting innocent minds. Otherwise, games like Hatred might cause some offence. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV3PhvCf_JgSarcasm aside, I think the only thing to quell the outrage and moral panic this game will inevitably generate is the fact its only available on PC and not on consoles, so the mainstream media might not be too aware of its presence...yet.

It made a little noise when the trailer hit, but like you said, PC games seldom get much media attention. Did you hear about the Law and Order: SVU episode where terrorist gamers hunt down women to rape?

I imagine most Tumblr uses thought that was a documentary.
But if that wasn't enough, there's always "Kill the Faggot" that was about for five minutes on Stream. What got me is that a lot of people thought shit like that is legit gaming from actual companies.
