 Apparently, this guy is some regional fighter trying to make a name for himself by calling out a high-profile yet low-risk fighter, Clubber Lang style. But I imagine if I was trying to get into the UFC, I wouldn't do it by making a highly unprofessional scene at one of their fan events. Also, note the girl behind him tapping him on the shoulder like "uuuummmm, could you please let someone else have a turn, Mr. Jackass sir?". I was kind of hoping Punk was going to go full WWE shoot mode instead of just calling him names, though. |

What a douchebag. I don't really know what the intention was there, was he seriously expecting Punk to just say "yeah, sure, me and you next week." Punk automatically made that guy an asshole laughing at his Twitter comment. Gold.
Threads like these are usually internet poison because they attract the attention of the biggest assholes on the internet. You've got the UFC "LOL WRESTLING IS 4 FAGS" crowd, the wrestling fans who hate Punk for leaving and call him a sell-out, the wrestling fans who think he's the saviour (guarantee you'll see the words "Pipe Bomb" in there somewhere)..eye bleach is required after reading through all that shit.
I really can't imagine Punk in UFC at all. Let's be honest - he ain't Lesnar. I can't see him surviving at all.

Yeah, I'm pretty sire that's why he's taking his sweet time with his debut. He's just too old to just be getting started on this. But there's money to be made on the UFC end so they'll give him a shot. How is he a sellout? No way the UFC pays him what the WWE was.

I'd be amazed if that was the case. There was some leaked info a year or so ago that showed you what some of the guys in WWE actually earn. A guy like Punk, who shifted merchandise like a motherfucker, must have been on some top, top money. Kudos to him for trying something new and everything, but man.. he's going to get killed, isn't he? Punk, you don't blow your money on drink and drugs, you're probably a fucking millionaire, you could step back into wrestling in any capacity any time you want AND you're married to THAT.  What are you even DOING, man?! |

Being a MAN. It takes serious balls to do what he's doing. And who knows, maybe he's better than anyone's giving him credit for. He's obviously got the athleticism if nothing else, and that counts for a lot.
