There was a time a few years ago where there was a free (legal) MP3 site that was a gold mine for me. It was a "free download a day" website that introduced me to a number of bands I've now fallen in love with and shared on here. One website introduced me to Tilly and the Wall, Mates of State, Machine Go Boom, New Pornographers and more.
That said, free MP3 can be a bit of a minefield and a chore to trawl through.
But not this week, friends. Because the ever reliable Foo Fighters have released a five track EP of new music (not live versions or remixes or any of that shit, five new actual songs) and dedicated it to the memory of the victims of the Paris attacks.
The Saint Cecilia EP is available as a free download for a limited time from iTunes and the Google Play store now. Go get it.
