So, this dance begins again, and here's the official (teaser) trailer for the eighth instalment of this little known franchise.

Not really much to go on (it is a teaser after all), but I notice Captain Phasma is there, and hopefully she gets more to do this time around. It won't pack the sentimental punch Force Awakens had when we saw these old characters for the first time in 30 years, but it'll be interesting to see what happens with Leia.

What do we think of this then?

I'll give it a spin. Watching the last season of Girls now and still trying to figure out what the fuck they were thinking casting Adam as Kylo Ren.

See, I'm not sure if I hadn't seen Girls I wouldn't have found it slightly comical. I dunno, 'cos I was just like, "ha, Adam." But I think that largely the point, wasn't it? That he wasn't the conquering bad-ass Vader was, he was a try-hard desperate to be in the same league.

I actually gave up on Girls. I find Lena Dunham such a poisonous entity in real life I can't enjoy the show now.

You've gotta separate the art from the artist. Everybody is sone kind of bastard or another. Dunham is just super upfront about it. I tend to deliberately not pay attention to that kind of shit, but I do wonder what she did to offend you to that extent. I personally adore the woman (having not really dug into her personal life).
