What a horrible person you are. Did you even buy the CD? I've heard Leon Jackson - he's got a great voice and he's perfect to follow in the footsteps of someone like Michael Buble. And this review makes you come across more as a bitter, jealous, wanna-be musician than anything else. I think there's something to be said for commercial success. You can't say "people will buy anything" and use that as your excuse for why YOU are justified in thinking something is horrible. It might not be a work of staggering genius, but if it moves millions of people then it obviously has merit. Something you are overlooking in your arrogant comment on the stupidity of anyone who doesn't agree with YOU. Your opinion is just that---YOUR opinion---but if you want to be taken seriously as a reviewer, perhaps you should save the insults for your personal blog and actually talk about the music. And hey, maybe try buying the CD and listening to it before making a snap judgment based on someone's origin or a few YouTube'd episodes of a reality show that shows the person in their early stages.

ORIGINAL COMMENT FROM AMAZON.COM
I watched a tv show on Saturday called '100 Worst Songs' which basically does exactly what it says on the tin. Every one of Cowell + Co's wonders from Alex Whatserface to the 'I've-been-kicked-in-the-knackers' high voice of bulbous Rik Waller were all included, as well as some of his more daring extra-curricular work with the scintillating Robson and Jerome, (didn't play live much because the first 6 rows of the auditorium had to be left empty to accomodate the lunatic amount of chin on display) Five, Zig and Zag, the Teletubbies and that fiery rocker Clive Dunn. Point is; this was poll-voting by the public, illustrating that apart from one or two Alzheimers ridden Granny's and the plant-pots with no life on a Saturday evening - the public hates this stuff just as much as our friend the Cur. And don't forget Cowell passed on Take That and the Spice Girls, just to add insult to insult. The Cur's reviews are 100% accurate and effective for one simple reason, his targets are so easy. They're lined up like silly chickens on a conveyor belt, waiting for the chop. Some-ones gotta do it. There's nothing horrible about it, it's an act of healing, and as for not buying the cd's - you don't need to go to the Arctic to know that it's cold.

ORIGINAL COMMENT FROM AMAZON.COM
It is the negativity and criticism of people that makes for failure. Be happy for someone who is having success or don't say anything at all. Spend your time on the positives rather than dragging people down. The song Leon sings is a good one and that is enough in itself. Enjoy a good message with a nice melody and voice.

ORIGINAL COMMENT FROM AMAZON.COM
I have just read this thread after a full year. The person who did this review must be feeling pretty smug now. Because he was absolutely right. Leon's new single did not reach Number 1 and neither did his album. As we speak it is down at Number 75 after 9 weeks on the chart. Pretty dismal. I said at the time that he was the worst X Factor winner and it seems the British public agree. I do like Rhydian though and i am glad to say his album is doing ok.
