I thought I'd share this momentous occasion with my friends at The Fortress because I am a big fan of the art of internet flaming and I know some of you are as well. I recently have gotten into it with some unsavory types through my Amazon reviews. I'm usually all sweetness and joy, shining an illuminating light on the overlooked gems of entertainment so I seldom get attacked by internet denizens, who are mostly too ignorant to even find the products I review or are hastily converted upon discovering said products. But now media politics have assaulted my favorite films of the year and it's on. Trashcanman has just been served! 
Remember "Grindhouse", the already legendary Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez horror trash cinema-fest double-feature that America let BOMB at the box office while shit like "Are We There Yet", "Norbit", and "Wild Hogs" raked in the dough? Well it's been split into two single-features and all the idiots who didn't go see it in the theaters (it's 2-for-one, how do you pass that up?!)
are angry that they'll have to buy or rent two DVD's to burn for all of their friends. So they're taking a page out of Martin Luther King's playbook and boycotting the DVD, assuming that if the films prove to be bottomless money pits on DVD as well as in the theater then we will get a super-deluxe theatrical cut with all the fixin's. Right, because that's how the movie business works. 
Anywho, take a look at my the pages for Rodriguez's "Planet Terror" and Tarantino's "Death Proof" and watch the sour grapes fly to-and-fro as "Grindhouse" supporters take on the mentally handicapped. I know it seems cruel, but to dig up some of that old playground logic: they started it!
