If it's wrestling, if you're Shawn Michaels, and you're told to lose to Hulk Hogan? Simple - make every move the barely mobile 60 year old does look like you're being hit by Thor. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyN5sAShqOAShawn flips and flops and bounces around, turning the entire match into a farce. The next week on Raw, with Hogan gone (having fulfilled his contract), Michaels talks about the match saying things like "so he beat me. But back in the REAL world.." and "this has nothing to do with politics, BROTHER.." If he was any other guy he would have been sacked on the spot. But he's one of the best ever, so I'm glad he's not. Even for non-wrestling fans, this is pretty funny to watch. Check the big boot at the end......!

That was hysterical. I wonder what the hardcore inbred, wrestling-is-really-really-real fans were thinking there?

Probably "OMG! Hogan is sooo strong he makes Michaels look like a bouncing ball, ROFL!" Etc.

Oh come on Curmy - even young children no longer think wrestling is real!
Have you read Bret Hart's autobiography yet? He takes himself quite seriously and it is very warts and all. I think the problem between he and Shawn came down to the fact that they were the two greatest performers of the 90s, battling against each other in the same company. Neither one wanted to give up their top spot.

Oh come on Curmy - even young children no longer think wrestling is real! See, I dunno man; I know a guy who is 50 who, in one sentence, will knowingly talk about wrestling like its fake, and then go on and say something like, "but Randy Orton was obviously scared of the Undertaker." But then again, this guy has little pools of white foam gather at the corners of his mouth when he talks, so maybe I've just solved the mystery to that one.
