I don't think anyone would win a Stan Lee No-Prize for pointing out that things have been eerily quiet over the last few weeks. I mean, I know this place isn't exactly ebay when it comes to traffic, but hells bells - I think the old site has more going on than this one. In fact, looking at the 10 most recent posts I can see it's only me and Trashcanman that have even been on here recently.
So - yes I have noticed and yes I am doing something to try and rectify the situation. Namely - trying to get some new blood on the site. And trust me - that's not as easy as you'd think.
So, hopefully this is only a temporary glitch and we'll see some familiar faces around here again.
Or worse case scenario - The Curmudgeon ends up talking to himself. And I do enough of that already, thanks...

Been wondering about that myself.  Keep ranting and quizzing and I'll keep reading and responding, but it would be nice to get this place buzzing a bit more. Perhaps more porn?  Or you could try renaming the site (anything with "American Idol" or "Lindsay Lohan" in the title should be a goldmine).  It's a big internet, not all can find their way to the wisdom within The Fortress. So sad. |

Yeah, hopefully things will pick up, but the thing about this place is its a pretty hard sell. I mean, this site isn't really about anything, so its kinda hard to find a select group of people who will instantly want to click the link to find out.
Think about it - how many "click here" and "visit here" links do YOU see on the net, and how many do you ignore? That's the main problem I have to deal with. Sigh.

Hello..
This is pretty much the first chance I've had to pop on here, thanks to my time being munched with the arrival of Matthew and Connor, coupled with trying to get my car repaired, a new boiler installed to stop us all from freezing and generally being unwashed, and other assorted things... And that's before I mention going back to work...
That said, I wouldn't change a thing.. Erm, apart from the car, boiler and other domestic nonsense.

Hi, I've been just wrapped up in the midst of work, computer breakdown, vacation and a need for a recharge on things (not to mention my radio show) so I hope you don't feel I'm staying TOO invisible.
