For seven days, at least.
Yup, The Curmudgeon is off globe-trotting again. Gran Canaria beckons, and I heed the call. Time for seven days of sun, drink and hangovers.
Feel free to keep popping in and telling the world what's on your mind, and I'll be back in action soon.

Fear not, Loyal Dwellers - The Irresponsible Hate Monger is back in Latveria and back in the comforts of his Fortress.

Last I checked reality television dictated what the unwashed masses watched AND listened to, Britney Spears was washed-up, the government is falling apart at the seams, cinema was dominated by half-assed sequels and bad remakes, and here we are. Business as usual, though Hollywood's writers have gone on strike since you left. You know what that means.....reality television 24-7!!! I can hardly wait to cancel my cable service.

I was actually going to make a thread dedicated to the strike.. in fact, I think I will. So I won't bother mentioning it here.
As for Britney being washed up - her album being number one in the US and number two in the UK doesn't sound too bad to me.

I believe The Eagles hold the #1 spot and have sold roughly 3 times as many albums this week. And what is Britney up against, really? The album charts are looking like the Special Olympics of music these days.

Yeah, The Eagles got to number one over here too.
I... I didn't expect that.
