My friend Kirk Rozich recently decided to put together a pilot episode for what he hopes to be the first in a series of YouTube videos, called Kirk The Jerk. The series will focus on the many escapades of the character Kirk, played by Kirk, and it is entirely written and directed by Kirk. I worked on this pilot episode as the editor, an actor in a minor role, and shooting the opening sequence. For your viewing pleasure, please enjoy Kirk The Jerk: Episode I - "Ghostbuster Rehab". When Kirk finds out about the upcoming Ghostbusters video game set to be released in the fall, his obsession with the franchise resurfaces itself for the first time since his childhood. Realizing the effect that it's having on his personality and at the insistence of his friends, Kirk decides to seek therapy for his addiction. Part One: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Q-oDFG2EB0Part Two: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_KH2ItgzVU(We had to split it into two parts due to YouTube's limitations on video length.)

Coming from someone who used to make "home movies" in the deep dark past, I gotta say - really quite impressive, Benjamin.
Yeah, OK, there won't be any acting Oscars being given out, (that guy with the long hair, man - STOP SMILING!) but credit where its due, it's actually very well directed.
The opening shots are smooth and pretty cool looking, and it all flows along nicely. Good job.
Oh, and any film opening with Iggy Pop is A-OK with me.

Thanks for the feedback. Nice idea making this Dweller's Domain forum, by the way. Now hopefully I won't be the only one posting these videos.

Well, yeah, hopefully. But it'd be nice to see other stuff like Amazon reviews and whatever else you crazy cats are into.
