After the way you insulted people for being boring on the SO forum I came here expecting it to be cutting edge stuff but its a bit more of a blunt knife.
I was not intending to flame this forum just speaking as I find, I thought you of all people would appreciate that.

So what exactly are you doing here? So you saw me over at the Survivor Online forum - well I was there to try and recruit new members. And hey, I struck the jackpot - I got two people from there that could never be called "boring." And if memory serves, I only insulted people for being boring if that's what they were. I didn't say that about Isis or Patsy and voila - new members. Did I say that about you, perhaps? Were you labelled as "boring" and so that's what these little visits are all about? Well, the fact you go into that forum and two of the most senior members either a) don't know you or b) don't remember you speaks volumes, quite frankly. In fact, you're coming in here for no real reason other than to try and stir up some trouble and you're STILL boring. I went into that site and whipped up a fucking storm in the amount of time you've managed to get a cough, a sigh and a yawn from everyone here. Do you honestly think anyone here is remotely interested in anything you have to say? I'm all for going into forums and throwing insults but good God - if I was as hopeless and "cut out and paste generic insult here" as you I would have binned my computer long ago. Don't worry - some people are just better at some things than others. Everyone on this site, for example, is better at writing creatively than you are. Whereas you.. um.. well, I imagine when you go to parties you can stand in the room and make a damn fine coat-rack. Good for you. Now please, leave this sort of thing to the professionals in future. Still waiting for those pearls of conversational brilliance, Btar. I vey seldom insult people without outright provocation, but comparing other people boring old women while disclosing your fetish for cross-stitching is just asking for it. And generally speaking, when one finds a forum boring they don't return again and again. The net is a big place with many not-boring places to go. Why spend time somewhere you don't enjoy? This is exactly WHY words like "moron" and "cretin" exist. Grace us with some scintillating, cutting-edge stuff to knock us on our asses or consider your opinion null, void, and stupid as all hell. To put it in simpler words: put up or shut up!

I don't know why I popped in actually, guess I was just very bored and still am. I was also fascinated to see why Patsy and Isis remained after you had insulted people they know. Hands up, I don't do crosstitch just went on a forum one day to take a look after seeing it referred to on SO. Not that good at insulting people either, just not my bag I'm afraid, unless of course you count the bunch of old women remark. If you want a coffee time type of forum who am I to disapprove. I don't "know" many people on SO personally, but all those around when The Curmudgeon joined can more than handle themselves. What were we supposed to do? Boycott this place in some pathetic show of loyalty? Or browse this place but not admit it to anyone on SO? What would be the point? We're all adults and can do what we want. In fact, one of the reasons SO is dying is because of people saying things just like the one quoted above. shit-stirring just for the sake of it, with no wit or originality. Is it any wonder Isis, Mik and I have ventured over here? Oh, and you too. But of course, you've changed your identity so no-one on SO could ever know who you are. Not B-tsar - pathetic. |

I mainly post on a closed forum where the people I "know" post, they are the ones that i really give a shit about and would back up 100% if I thought they needed it, and as Patsy said, the people who had a spar on SO with TC could more than handle themselves, and i also KNOW that SO has gone very quiet again since he stopped posting.... I will post where I like, I dont need permission, and as I stated cearly on here AND SO, I found that TC amused and irritated me, I came over here to nose and found there were topics that interested me so I joined, I didnt realise I had to ask the Forum Police their permission 1st  BTW the irritation has pretty much worn off now TC  Btsar, you obviously know me, so you know I will say what I think, so there you have it......join in and get over yourself or feck off if you dont like it....it aint rocket science!!!!! |
