Its not hit the UK just yet, but in the US it has now been ruled that Youtube have to surrender the IP addresses of everyone who has watched a Youtube video as well as what video it is they were watching, not to mention user names. How the FUCK did this happen? Is privacy no longer a given right for us anymore? Are our personal viewing habits now open to some sort of invisible scrutiny? OH MY FUCKING GOD! The mainstream media has said almost nothing of this! What a vulgar, wrong-headed, vile, fascist, and colossally ignorant precedent. I wish horrifying cancerous death on each judge who ruled on this. This would have been absolutely unthinkable 8 years ago. Post 9-11 terror in America has come only from Big Brother and this snowball effect of one human right after another being stripped for shakier and shakier reasons continues to gather steam. Meanwhile, all major news outlets are pounding us around the clock with rumors of a "pregnancy pact" among a single group of high school girls. Do I care? Not even a little. That is not news, that is fucking GOSSIP!

Yeah it was headline news over here. That link was just something I found on Google to show you. Scary, no? Not just scary - infuriating, too. This just goes against every human right we've taken for granted for so long. You really have to wonder where they're going to go from here.
And what's the pregnancy pact all about? Like, a group of kids agreeing to get pregnant? Over here they don't have to agree it just happens.

The pregnancy pact thing is a steaming pile of BULLSHIT! Basically, there was a spike in pregnancies at a high school so the principal was talking out of his ass on camera about how the girls must have had a pact to get pregnant together. The media exploded. After all, teenage girls + sex = ratings. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25319565/ It's all over the fucking place. Governments and corporations can now legally spy on your personal home life under subterfuge of a nonsense interpretation of copyright law, but what people REALLY want to hear about is fucking gossip made up by some loser school principal in Shittown USA. Hey, I finally saw a report on this! It was on the wonderful G4 channel which is essentially NerdTV. At least SOMEBODY has taken it upon themselves to inform the public that they could potentially be hunted like dogs in the near future for having viewed, uploaded, or linked a damn Youtube clip.

Ahh, yup - nothing whips the media into a frenzy like the words "teenagers" and "sex." Over in the UK though, the two buzz words that are ALL over the press are "teenagers" and "knives." Love those Bobby hats! I didn't catch Gallagher there, but I think he's a solid songwriter and a first-rate asshole rockstar. In my neck of the woods, we'd kill for more knife crime! Everybody's packing heat in this bitch or firebombing motherfuckers' houses. Wear the wrong color in the wrong part of town and you are dead.
