Sadly, not a live action movie, but it still looks and sounds very promising indeed. It's an animated movie, but this time Marvel are aiming this above the more kiddie friendly "Saturday morning" cartoon feel. So expect some blood and violence, and maybe, you never know, Wolverine might get to use his claws.. www.comicbookmovie.com/news/articles/4806.aspDunno if I'd pay full price for a 30 minute film, but it does sound worth seeing. Ditto the Thor film too. I like this direction Marvel are heading.

Shee-it, make it Hulk versus the X-Men and we'll talk. Any 30 minute "film" is a rental at best, though I like that Marvel is pitting out this straight-to-DVD stuff. But who the fuck okayed THIS with the fans? Just what we were clamoring for: Baby Avengers. Just how many times is it going to take for Marvel to get Earth's Mightiest Heroes right? "the first "Ultimate Avengers" was a start, but they veered way off course for the sequel. Still waiting for a REAL adaptation. Hope to God that Marvel either strays from the kid-friendly image or steals DC's brilliant animation crew. Interestingly, not a word about the planned "Planet Hulk" film. Now THAT is what I'm talking about. And could "World War Hulk" be far behind that? Alright comic, but it would make a truly badass animated movie. blog.newsok.com/nerdage/2008/06/12/planet-hulk-coming-to-dvd/I don't know about the Nickelodeon-produced Iron Man film, though. I tend to actively dislike their cartoons.
