Well, who would have believed it? A spin-off TV show, usually the death-knell for any film, has actually got me interested in a movie franchise again. If the fourth Terminator movie had came out after T3, I doubt I would even have rented it. But after the superb Sarah Conner Chronicles, which was far, FAR superior than I ever thought it would be, I'm ready to see where they go with this. www.comicbookmovie.com/news/articles/4846.aspI'm not sure, is this following T3 timelines or ignoring that film completely? Anyone know?

Glad you liked the show. I can't wait for season 2. Hopefully when this movie comes out it will be so wonderful that you will not feel compelled to bring up T3; you will have forgotten it exists. When I saw this trailer in the theater somebody grumbled that it would ruin the franchise. I enjoyed T3 for the big, dumb action film it was but I don't see how this fresh start could do any more damage that one. This is the film I've wanted to see ever since the opening skull-crushing shot that jump-started my dark sci-fi love so many years ago.

I'm definitely interested, not least 'cos Christian Bale's involved. So is this got anything to do with T3?
