Well, I've made about 20 threads in the past asking if anyone will go to the dark (or Blu) side in the near future, and whaddya know? Looks like I have. Except it wasn't really planned.

Quite frankly, I'm still perfectly happy with DVD, especially if the latest batch of normally must have titles to appear on Blu-Ray are anything to go by, with some bare bones discs of what have previously been jam-packed with extras DVDs. Unforgivable.

But, I now have the option. See, my wife, who is AWESOME, won a PS3 at her work for doing the most sales out of everyone else. So we now have a PS3 as well as a Blu-Ray player. Colour me excited.

I don't know if anyone here has a PS3, but I've been so out of the gaming loop now I have no idea what's good. Any games to recommend, for someone who doesn't like driving, sport or simulation games?

The PS3 has almost no games that interest me aside from "Resistance: Fall of Man". The upcomng sequel looks amazing. If I bought one it wold be for the blu-ray, but I think I'd rather go for an upconverting DVD player rather than abandon my extensive DVD collection.

Most of them are from the Xbox 360, so I can attest to the awesomeness of "Assassin's Creed", "The Orange Box", and "Oblivion" (which should have been top 5, easy). "Call of Duty 4" has the best multiplayer and "Warhawk" looks pretty sweet as well.

Thanks for the list. See, I'm a fussy bastard when it comes to games. I don't think I would even pick 3/4's of them up from the shelf, let alone consider spending money on them. Racing games are a snore, and, as ignorant as it sounds, anything that requires too much thought and fiddly controls and shit I just don't have patience with anymore.

There IS a Legends of Wrestlemania game coming out though...

Oh, I read "Bioshock" is coming to PS3 as well. You'll love it.
