God knows when this all started, but one thing that really fucks me off is THIS sort of shit.. Seriously, would Paris Hilton even be able to name two fucking Rolling Stones SONGS? Of course not. Yet she'll happily fake it and wear their t-shirt to try and look cool. This sort of fakery is everywhere. Shirts made to look old and worn and genuine, hot off the press and mass produced for every dead-eyed moron wanting a piece of "rock chic." Call me old fashioned, but surely you wear the shirt because you like the band? I don't care how cool it would look, I wouldn't wear, say, a Ramones t-shirt because, even though I like what I've heard, I'm not a fan in the traditional sense. Yet I wear a Bowie and Prince shirt, for example, because I am a genuine fan. But this seems lost on a lot of stupid people, who seem to think a band logo is just another Levi's tag. Just because these people have no culture or style or identity of their own, they have to try and steal ours. And it pisses me off.

Yup. I went to a gig once and got there regrettably late (didn't know the area). Motorhead was playing and I was fucking running to get to the concert area so as to not miss another minute of Lemmy's godliness. Along the way, I passed some douche in a Motorhead shirt just standing around smoking a cigarette. Did he not know that the band on his shirt were playing on stage at that very moment and nothing was stopping him from approaching the concert area? That's always bugged me. Like those shitheads that attend the how and then call their buddies on their cell phone to talk about how awesome the show they are paying no attention to is. I love it when they hold the phone up like "See? I'm really at a concert! Isn't that awesome!? Am I cool yet?" Keeps me angry at the world.

Yeah, what is THAT about? I see that all the time. If I'm at a gig and I just can't manage to hold in a piss (I do try, usually, but even I have my limits) I'm coming back and there's people hanging around outside the stage area on their phones or just sitting talking.
It's like, why the fuck are you even HERE?

I'll third this one. The latest craze seems to be Metallica Master of Puppets t-shirts, which really pisses me off since I've had one since I was 12, and now I'm just another poser by default for wearing it. The people I see wearing the shirts don't even have the songs printed on the back. To me, that's instant verification they picked it up at Hot Topic.
Another one I hate is when I go to a concert with a friend and we're checking out the merch stand, he'll buy a shirt from some band he doesn't even like because "it looks cool." Dude, you're an idiot. Do you even know which band they were? Unlikely.
