It's that time again, ladies and gentlemen, when the stress of the world gets all too much for the Irresponsible Hate Monger and he has to retreat to sunnier climes.

This time - Egypt. A first for me, actually, so don't really know what to expect. Although I will be kinda outraged if I don't see this

But we are booked in to see the pyramids and all that, so who knows?

Anyway, we're only going for a week so hopefully this place will tick along just nicely without me until then.

Aaaand I'm back. With a nice touch of tan, so I've been told (I usually just burn.. the Brits and sunshine don't usually mix well). And talk about a missed opportunity - there is not even ONE mention of the Hollywood take on The Mummy. Not one postcard, picture - nothing.

Still amazing, though. The pyramids and the Sphinx are kinda humbling up close, and its one of those things you've seen so many times on TV that its.. weird.. seeing them in person.

Anyway, back to business..
