Aaaaand Trashy hits it out the park AGAIN with another video game scoop. I'm so glad you're clued in on this sort of thing, man. I have zero clue when it comes to games nowadays.
Anyway.. I loved the first Ultimate Alliance, and it's nice to see a different spin being taken on the game, not just another "random super villain takes over the world" story.
Want to know an embarrassing secret? I've never even read Civil War yet. I subscribe to about seven different Marvel titles which have all expired (the subscriptions, that is) and I haven't resubscribed yet, and I know for a fact the Civil War arc was just about to start in them. MUST get back on them. Must.
All in all - yet another video game to keep an eye out for.

MUA is still among my favorite games from the current generation. I love that they are paying more attention to the team-up attacks. That flaming tornado was sweet! Civil War had some amazingly great moments, but it bummed a lot of people out, me included. I haven't really gotten into the big Marvel events since. They keep ret-conning (which I hate with firey passion) and I didn't think I can stomach the Secret Invasion at all so I skipped it except for the Deadpool tie-in. Nothing pisses me off more than the old "you know that character you've been following? Well, he's been an impostor for the last year so jokes on you, loser! Thanks for all the money!" bit. Shape-shifting, power-duplicating aliens are the new clones.
Anyways, this game is at the top of my list. I can't wait to shoot Stark in his stupid fucking face with Deadpool's SMG's.
