Especially when it comes to Street Fighter.

I'm still adoring Street Fighter IV at the moment (I'm totally addicted to it, if truth be told) and so I was reading up on some of the characters and decided to take a look at the very first Street Fighter game.

Wow.

How this even got a sequel, never mind evolved into arguably the most popular game of all time, is lost on me when you take a look at this video. It's barely recognizable.

They tried to have the original make a comeback in arcades after the first was the biggest game since Donkey Kong. It was funny to watch people come and look at it with interest and pop a quarter in out of curiosity. The look on their face when the game began was priceless.
