This was originally going to just be about one shirt in particular, one with a happy story attached to it. Well, a few moons ago, a younger Curmudgeon had an awesome, awesome, AWESOME Prince t-shirt with his moody face on the front and the words "The Exodus Has Begun" written on the back. Until it got destroyed by a washing machine. And I never saw another one again until - wooo-HOOO - I found one on the net. Check it out..

And NOW!

As I was unpacking, I came to a pretty scary conclusion; I don't have ANY t-shirts that are just, y'know, t-shirts. Every single thing I wear on a daily basis has some band/comic/movie/game icon on there now. I was going to print pics of some of them, but I can't find a lot and, well, the thread would be huge.
So here's a quick list of the shirts I now wear;
Clockwork Orange, Pac-Man ghosts, Mr T, Mario hitting a ? block with "What's Poppin'?", the Godzilla original movie poster and another one of a black outline of him nuking tanks, Flight of the Conchordes, Hulk SMASH, David Bowie "Alladin Sane", Punisher, Silver Surfer (1st issue comic cover), Venom, Spider-Man fighting Doc Ock (60s artwork), Captain America (ditto), "I Fought the Hoff and the Hoff won" and "Don't Hassle the Hoff" shirts, a Japanese Animal (Muppets) with "Rock and Roll" on it, Muttley laughing and Wile E Coyote "On the Prowl". That's all I can think of. Oh, oh, and an awesome, hand stitched, Italian white linen shirt with classic designs of Batman and Robin on the stomach and back. I only wear that now and then, because I look like the biggest nerd on the fucking planet when I do.
Now, knowing this place and knowing the Dwellers, I just KNOW you guys will love to wear your passions on your sleeves, chest and, well, pretty much everywhere else. So let's hear about, and maybe even see, them.
