Maybe it was something I ate, maybe it was anxiety due to the exam the next day, maybe it was.. I dunno, something else, but The Curmudgeon had one HELL of a bad dream last night.
So I was in this multi-story car park (that I haven't actually been in for around 10 years) running up the long tunnels as someone gave chase. It was the usual, my legs were sticking, I wanted to run but I was shuffling as this person crept ever closer.
So who do you think it was? Norman Bates in full on mother mode? Nope. Jason Vorhees after being told "kill him, Jason" by his mother? Nope. Michael Myers after I stumbled across that weird bedroom funeral thing for his mother? Nope. (Hey, what is it with these killers and their mothers, anyway?) The person that was chasing me was this guy;
Yeah. And I picked that picture for a reason, 'cos that's pretty much how he looked. The black trousers, the scar on his face.. and he didn't run after his, he just walked in that taut, muscles tensed weird way he does, and he kept making those little "hi..yaah!" noises. And he was going to kill me.
So this dream went on for what seemed like four fucking hours, until I finally got to the top of the car park and Bruce comes out... like this.
He kept spinning them around and laughing, and I was running around the top of this car park trying to find a way to get away....
And then I woke up, my heart trying to escape from my chest.
Now I ask you, ladies and gents, is there ANYTHING more frightening than that?
