Know what I hate in pop music? Fucking DIVA's. You know the sort of thing I mean, the Whitney's, Celine Dion, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey types that sing huge ballads with huge orchestral backing. The sort of thing X Factor salivates over. Yeah, they can all sing so very well.. who gives a fuck?

If we're talking girls in pop music, give me girls with a bit of sass and personality any day. And that takes me to Lady GaGa, a real, bonafide pop star, a loon seemingly from another planet, a welcome antidote to the banal, "I want to thank God and my record label" easy to please dullards farmed from Cowell's camp.

I didn't warm to Lady GaGa at first, but I'd consider myself a big ol' fan now. And while Poker Face is a good song.. I dunno, there's just something missing from it. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it needs another singer, someone with world experience and a captivating voice..

Damn you Trashy, I've just been trumped in the funny Poker Face rendition stakes. That was brilliant. I really need to get into South Park more. I've never seen a clip I haven't liked. How many seasons of that has there been now? 14?

When Lady GaGa came out I was very "meh" about her. "Just Dance" was decent enough but it was only after "Paparazzi" I started to take notice. And yet I've heard people say they don't like her 'cos she's "too weird." That's the fucking POINT, you idiots! That's how we want popstars to be! Prince, MJ, Madonna.. they're like creatures from some amazing other planet, not some grinning, eager to please dickless idiot that is just soooooo happy to be here and wants it sooooo much.

The 13th season of South Park just ended. That ep was hilarious. It parodied the reality show "Whale Wars" and featured Japanese people invading Sea World and harpooning all the Orcas and dolphins while screaming "Fuck you, Whares! Fuck you Dorphins!" That is so hilarious.
