Go on. If you were a betting man, who would YOU bet on in a fight to the festive number one? This creature Joe Mcelderry, simpering, grinning X Factor winner, a program that 20 MILLION people watched the final episode of, singing a previous US number one hit for Miley Cyrus, The Climb? or this band Rage Against the Machine, who were championed by a single Facebook user to defeat Simon's latest puppet with the expletive laden Killing in the Name of. Basically, a multi-million spawned TV hit, with the same formula that has claimed more than 7 number one Christmas hits, or an internet spawned campaign of a 17 year old rock song? Let's face it, you'd have bet on Joe Mcelderry. And, my friends, you'd be........................ WRONG. Because Rage Against the Machine BEAT the X Factor! Killing in the Name is the UK Christmas number one! FUCK YEAH! It's not often I love this country.. but I certainly do now. Ha ha ha ha ha!
