Yes folks, believe it or not, this is the last (probably) post from The Curmudgeon you will read this year. For I am bidding farewell to the cold and the snow (keep your white Christmas) and jetting off to sunnier climes for two whole weeks. Gran Canaria, to be exact.
I've never had Christmas in another country before, so chalk that up as another first. Will it be better? Or will I pine for the more traditional "with family" scene? Time will tell.
So whilst I may pop in from time to time, this will be the last major update of 2009. And it's been fun, hasn't it, True Believers?
So - get past Christmas, have a blast for New Year, and I'll see you all back here, ship shape and ready for action, as always, in 2010.

Man, what I would do for European vacation time here in America. Now that I've been in my job for 5 years, I now have THREE whole weeks a year instead of two. Don't the French get 5 to start with or something?
Enjoy your trip and get ready for another year of torturing morons.

We almost didn´t make it out at all with the weather in Britain the way it is. We left with no delay, the plane after us was delayed nine hours, and some poor bastards were delayed three DAYS.
Got time to pop into the Fortress because Mrs C is watching some tedious football game (and she´s currently in a bit of pain after having the Zelda Tri.... something or other tattooed on her back. Honestly, that girl is a bigger nerd than me).
I´m really not looking forward to getting back in an airport right now after that suicide bomb attempt though.....

Your woman is having the Triforce tattooed on her? Truly a female worthy of worship. This her?

Woah. Damn. No, it´s not. But how is she ever going to play those games like that..? Here she is, though. Forgive the blood, which I had to keep wiping away with a towel.. I now have to carry her bag for her cos the straps hurt her back. I think I´m being played...
