Has anybody else seen it? I loved the hell out of this movie. So much so, that I actually applauded at the end and I'm not usually one of those people. Sadly, nobody stateside went to this this masterpiece of trash cinema full of zombie goodness, hot pieces of ass, car crashes, and the most hilarious horror trailers ever. The result is the double-feature presentation is being scrapped and "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror" are being seperated; torn apart like young siblings, each reaching for the other and loudly crying each other's names as the nazi bastards take them away to suffer alone. What a travesty; I'm just happy to be one of the few who caught it in the theaters in it's proper form. Sure, it was long as hell, but if the names Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez aren't reason enough for you to sit your ass down for 3+ hours then you just aren't much of a film fan. I'm sorely disappointed by my countrymates , this was our chance to show that we're sick of C-level remakes and we're ready for some real, original, true blue, hardcore horror and exploitation cinema. Thoughts, feelings?

Amen to the last sentence, Trashy. Although I haven't seen it yet, I really am rather looking forward to it.
Its strange, though - the film magazines in the UK (you know, the good ones) are going ape-shit over this film(s), with 8 page pull-outs and posters and everything, yet its rumoured that due to its dismal showing at the US box-office, it's going straight to DVD. A real shame.
But never mind - Hills Have Eyes 2 is out, right?
