So you know the drill by now (and if not, go back to Week One to catch up). I pick a song that soundtracked my dim and distant past, you rate or slate it. Simple as that. So from obscure Scottish lo-fi pop we go to fairly obscure US alt-rock and Redd Kross. My friend got me into this band (I think Nirvana, his heroes, said they liked them or something). Anyway, they never sold a record over here, and I don't know how popular they were in their hometown either. They do everything I like about rock music; heavy riffs and killer hooks, summed up perfectly with this track, Jimmy's Fantasy. I've managed to catch Redd Kross live twice, once in a tiny venue where we we were almost cheek to cheek with the bassist and then supporting the Foo Fighters. Doesn't get much better than that...! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs7RPjsFRNMVerdict?

Christ, that clean guitar could be Cobain playing. Pretty cool, but suffers from sounding too much like too many other 90's bands.
