Now then, hopefully this works and I've not just sat and keyed all this in for nothing.
But this is indeed a first; a Fortress thread created on a mobile.
Never beena huge fan of mobiles, certainly not the stupid 'get the latest model' mentality. But, er, I just happen to have got the latest model
What does this mean? Well, hopefully more threads, without the often 3 day gap between updates as Stupid real life gets in the way.
Anyway, no idea if this will work or how it'll look. Testing, testing..

OMG! Leetville, here we come. My cell is old, stupid, holds a charge for about two hours, and I almost never use it. I was about the last person in existence to get one so that's fitting.

You know, I used to be the same with mobile phones. In fact, I used to refuse to even OWN one, until me and Mrs C got separated at a gig and I realised that, well.. they can be pretty useful things.
I had some old chunky piece of shit for ages too, but I refused to upgrade because a) it had the Knight Rider theme tune as its ringtone and had a "Don't Make Me Angry" Hulk cover. That shit don't date.
But I eventually settled on this new Blackberry thing because it actually has a keyboard instead of those sanity-sapping screens where every fucking button appears instead of the key I'm trying in vain to press. Mrs C has an iPhone and if someone put a gun to my head I still couldn't type a message without a thousand mistakes.
So, no text speak here. Ever. You know me better than that, man.

My mother's employer provided her with a Crackberry, and I don't think she'll ever be the same. She checks her facebook 10 times a day and checks the forecast/news half as often. It's ridiculous.
Don't let your electronic devices get too close...
