Apologies, first of all, for the lack of any new threads over the last couple of days. I've been a busy Curmudgeon, what can I say?
Anyway, on the 21st April I head off to Gran Canaria for a week, and in October I'm heading off to Sicily. Myself and Mrs C have always said we'll go to GC every year (we have friends over there) and then a new place as well (I had fears of being one of THOSE couples who only go to the same place year in, year out... shudder). So I'd like to think I'm fairly well travelled.
But there's still loads of places I'd like to visit. Australia, New York, L.A (most of America, really. I've been to Florida and Memphis and that's it), Paris, Japan.. and I would LOVE to visit Transylvania. Obvious reasons, I know, but there's got to be a whole vampire/Dracula lore thing going on there, even if is just for tourists. I obviously wouldn't want to spend two weeks there or anything like that, but a four day thing would rule.
But that's me. Any of you Dwellers have any ideal holiday destinations?

Sounds like quite a book, I would totally have read that. Yeah, I would love to just see the original castles and explore the folklore and myth, away from all the Twilight/rock star trappings all vampires seemingly have nowadays. My mother in law went about thirty years ago and got dysentery, though. Not exactly a high recommendation.
