Eight weeks in, and we're onto one of the first songs I discovered and obtained thanks to the internet. I can't actually remember where I heard this first (I think it was an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head but I might be wrong), but this song has, without doubt, one of THE best opening lines ever.

Punk and rock fans may well have heard of this band, who have sadly split up. One Youtube comment sums "New Noise" up pretty well; "the Smells Like Teen Spirit of punk." Who am I to argue with that?

Cool video to an amazing adrenaline rush of a song. Although is it just me or is he saying "Jar Jar Binks! Jar Jar Binks" at the end?

I know it well. That is one murderous song. The whole album is pretty sweet, but New Noise just slaughters every other song from that period above and beyond.

Can't believe they split up after this, though. They could have conquered the world.
